Whom do I contact when I have a technology request for events taking place in the Campus Center, Combs Warehouse, Newlin Hall or Weisiger Theatre?

  • Campus Center and Combs Warehouse requests should be directed to the Student Life Office, slo.events@centre.edu or x5741. (A 7-day lead time is preferred but no less than 72 hours for event support.)
  • Newlin Hall, Weisiger Theatre, and Norton Center lobby requests should be directed to Jessica Durham, jessica.durham@centre.edu or x5423.

Making an event-related technology request:

  • In order for your event location to be properly equipped and ready for your use, we ask that you fill out and promptly submit the Special Events Technology Request Form.
  • Most events will be staffed by student workers, especially those events hosted in the evening and on weekends. We recommend a TWO-WEEK advance notice for all requests for scheduling purposes.
  • Events submitted after 5pm, during the work week or weekends, will be processed the next business day.  Contact Todd Sheene, todd.sheene@centre.edu or x5290, if you have any questions.
  • If you are requesting your event be audio recorded or video recorded, please download the appropriate file below and send it to Todd Sheene, todd.sheene@centre.edu, prior to your event.

Whom do I contact for furniture set-up?

Requests for tables, chairs, podiums should be submitted to Facilities Management, x5550.

What about catering?

For catering information, please contact Samantha Balistreri at sbalistreri@parkhurstdining.com.
NOTE: Those individuals who wish to rent a college facility, and plan to serve food, are required to utilize our campus food service vendor, Parkhurst.

What if I want my event live-streamed?

Currently, Centre College does not offer live-streaming for the campus. We recommend that you request your event be videotaped which can then be uploaded to Panopto (Centre’s video server) which will allow you to create a public link to share.

I really want my event live-streamed. Do I have any options?

Centre partners with AVT on providing professional grade, higher-end, multi-camera video recording and live-streaming support for events for an additional cost. Todd Sheene can work with you and AVT to plan out your event. Please contact Todd at todd.sheene@centre.edu or ext. 5290.   Please note: AVT requires at least a minimum of three weeks in order to properly prepare for your event.
