Crounse Training Laboratory

The Crounse Training Laboratory is located on the lower level of the library. The lab is open the same hours as the library, and is available for students when not in use for library instruction courses or Center for Teaching and Learning workshops. Faculty and staff may reserve the computer lab online here for non-recurring classroom sessions (please contact a reference librarian if you wish to reserve the lab more than three times in a single term).

Print jobs may be retrieved at any of the four printer/copier workstations located on the main level of the library.

Laptops, Library

Twelve laptop computers and power adapters are available at the Circulation Desk for loan to students. The laptops are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved ahead of time. All laptops have the same software installed as campus lab computers and are configured to print to campus printers. Color printing can only be done through Centre Document Services.

Laptops, Personal

Personal laptops can be used in the library to access the campus network. For instructions on connecting to the campus network, visit the ITS website and consult the Online Knowledge Base. It is possible to print from your personal laptop to the library's printer/copier workstations. To do this you will need to install a small software package on your laptop. Instructions are available here.

Library Network, Wireless

Grace Doherty Library is fully covered with campus Wi-Fi. Bring your own laptop or check one out at the library's Circulation Desk. Campus Guests: ITS maintains a guest wi-fi network. Please connect your devices to that while visiting campus.

Library Computers

Twenty-two Windows computers are available on the main floor for student use.

Photocopying

Four printer/copier/scanner units are located on the main level of the library. A valid Centre ID is required for use. College policies governing the cost of photocopying are in effect for these stations.
