Course Description: Engineering Exploration introduces students to engineering disciplines and encourages creative problem-solving techniques that lead to innovation in technical fields. Students will consider differences and identity in the context of engineering design. The impact of equity and justice on infrastructure will be examined. Topics of difference, identity, equity and justice will be interwoven with a collaborative engineering design project throughout the course. The collaborative engineering design project will introduce students to modeling, 3D printing, and/or other manufacturing techniques.
