eBook Collection with EBSCO

EBSCO's eBook Collection consists of thousands of scholarly, reference, and professional full-text books in electronic format from the world's leading university presses and commercial publishers. Users can search for individual titles or perform full-text searches across multiple titles. Currently more than 30,000 titles in all subject areas are available to Centre College faculty, students, and staff.

Unlike many other eBook sites, EBSCOhost only allows one user to access an eBook at any given time. While an eBook is being viewed by a user, no other person can use that eBook. You can place a hold on an in-use eBook and be notified when it's available for your use.

EBSCO eBook Searching Guide

You can search the eBook collection in two ways, through the library's online catalog or by going to EBSCOhost directly. All of the available titles are listed in the library's online catalog and are searchable along with the regular collection by keyword, author, title, or subject. Filter search results by selecting "eBooks" at the left side bar Search Tools.. Going directly to EBSCOhost allows you to also search by author, title, subject, keyword, etc. The main difference is you can search every word in every book by selecting the "Also search within the full text of the articles" option.
